  1. Cut Up Ingredients
    1. Chop up onion finely Chopped onion sits on wooden cutting board. Garlic, lime, avocado, and cilantro can be seen nearby.
    2. Cut and scoop out avocado into a bowl. Avocado is removed from casing and added to bowl.
    3. Mince serrano Using chef's knife to mince serrano peppers. Chopped onion can be seen in background.
    4. Add onion and serrano to bowl Adding onion and serrano peppers to bowl of avocado chunks. Using chef's knife serrano is scooped up and placed in bowl with avocado and onion.
    5. Peel garlic and put through a press into the bowl. Using garlic press to mince garlic into bowl with avocado, onion, and serrano pepper.
    6. Finely chop cilantro and add to the bowl. Finely chopping cilantro on wooding cutting board and adding it to bowl with avocado, onion, and serrano peppers.
    7. Mash avocado mixture in bowl with the back of large spoon. Using spoon to mash avocado and incorporate onion, serrano, and cilantro mixture.
    8. Add salt Salt is sprinkled into bowl of guacamole
    9. Slice lime into quarters and squeeze into to guacamole. Lime is sliced with chef's knife on wooding cutting board to add lime juice to guacamole. Chopped onion and cilantro can be seen around.
